Doctor Biography

Dr. Fareya Nadir is a highly skilled and experienced consultant ophthalmologist. Practicing at Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute in Zigatola Branch with a focus on Phaco surgery and Medical-Retina.

She earned her MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in 2009, January. She achieved MS (Master of Surgery) from NIO&H (National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, Dhaka) and MCPS (Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bangladesh) degree in ophthalmic surgery. She is a BCS cadre from 2014. She is posted as an Assistant Professor at Mugda Medical College and Hospital. She is also completed her 6-month Phaco training from the Bangladesh Eye Hospital and Institute. She completed her fellowship on Vitreo-retina from the Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital.

She has working experienced from the renowned places of Ophthalmological Institution like National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College and Hospital, and Mugda Medical College & Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She used to work with Cataract surgery with all types of IOL, Medical Retina, all types of laser, and intravitreal injections.

She is a life member of OSB (Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh).
